Chef Johnson is a true native of New Orleans, Louisiana with a style that represents both his city and his state. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School, Chef Johnson has also been certified as an Executive Chef by the American Culinary Federation.
Growing up in New Orleans, Grandmother Aslee Broumfield (GiGi), taught little Darrell all of her famous over the stove secrets. Thus inspiring a love for the culinary arts that still runs strong in Chef Darrell Johnson today. Now a father of five, Chef Johnson shares GiGi's culinary secrets, as well as his own, with his children.
Chef Johnson has done a litany of competitions nationwide, which have included the honor of starring on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen, competing in the Golden Fork, and a continuance of opportunities to come.
